When we carry our childhood perceptions of the Bible into adulthood that is known as the lullaby effect. We no longer pay attention to the words of scripture because we believe we know the story. But what if we didn't? What if we heard the story over and over and forgot to ask the questions about whether this makes sense? Asking questions, especially those questions that seem inconsequential, enables us to deepen our faith and evelop a deeper understanding of scripture and God's purpose. This group is for women who want to recognize the impact of the lullaby effect, ask questions, and grow closer to God through a deeper understanding of the Bible. Using the Bema podcast as a guide, we will walk through the first four chapter of Genesis.
