SMALL GROUP: (WILL BEGIN MEETINGS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH) This Small Group is a community of Christ-followers, ranging from late high school to early twenties, who will listen to weekly assigned content, such as podcasts and sermons, and gather every Saturday to discuss thoughts and takeaways from the content. We will Study the Word together, comfortably and freely converse about Scripture, Faith, and other topics. The Small Group is open to all campus locations of River Valley Church, but will be primarily focused on Apple Valley and Shakopee Campus. The goal of this Small Group is to sharpen one another, as iron sharpens iron, to create a healthy, dependable, and bold Christ-centered culture, to combat today’s flesh-focused and cancel-centered culture. We want to create a space where we can talk comfortably about subjects ranging from taboo topics to “broken-record” arguments, all with the end goal to edify ourselves in Biblical ways of living and thinking for Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. This Small Group is lead by James Wolf (Apple Valley Campus) and Hannah Anderson (Shakopee Campus).
